“Jamhunters” with Peter Michal and Lars Fabiansen in the foreground have just returned home from the nightclubs in New York with the mood of the real jazz and soul sound under their skin.

The same scenario is now created with the show “ A nightclub in New York”. Here the Jamhuntes set up with their five man orchestra and two guest stars: Martin Brygmann and Christina Boelskifte.

Martin Brygmann offers his own compositions, where many probably know, “En kort, en lang” and the many hits from “Det brune punktum”.

Christina Boelskifta has appeared on the Danish pop- and soul scene for over a decade with countless big starts, such as Drori-Hansen Furniture, Eric Gadd, Cliff Richard, Etta Cameron, Caroline Henderson, Bobo Moreno, Sanne Salomonsen and Stig Rossen.

The concert offers numbers from the Jamhunters, Martin Brygmann, Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin, Duffy, Marvin Gaye, Bill Withers. A musical nightclub-cocktail that certainly will get the audience on the dance floor.

Jamhunters is made up of Peter Michael on keyboard, Lars Fabiansen on guitar. Their repertoire is made up og their own compositions in a stile that can be described as a a mix of smooth jazz/lounge music mixed with pop, funk and latin rythems.

Peter and Lars both have long musical carriers behind them and have previously worked together, among other things, in the band “Take five” in 1988 and “Heart and soul” in 1995.

In 2006 they decided to resume working together and publish their combined compositions under the name Jamhunters. Both Jamhunters cd’s have reaped great international attention and recognition, among other things through the many internet radios in Germany, Norway, USE, China and Japan

At this show, Jamhunters will be supplemented with some of the country’s best musicians on sax, drums and bas.

Duo concert with Christina Boelskifte & Mads Granum

Christina Boelskifte was born in the USA and was only 11 years old when she stood on stage for the first time as soloist in “Radioens pigekor” (The radios girls choir).

Since then she has appeared with Danish and international names like Stig Rossen, Martin Brygmann, Etta Cameron, Sanne Salemonsen and Elaine Paige.

Christina Boelskifte has participated on TV in “X-Factor”, “Den store klassefest”, “Scenen er din” and many more. She has also sung in the choir at the international song contest 3 times.

Christina Boelskifte’s current cd is “Ready for love”.

The Press wrote: “Christina Boelskifte marks herself as one of our times biggest pop and soul divas”.

Christina Boelskifte has the jazz pianist, Mads Graunum with her. The genre moves from the traditional gospel to the new, and the audience will be drawn in throughout. There will be swinging gospel where the roof will lift, and more deep interpretations of psalms and gospel songs.
